Edison Elementary Fifth Grade Activities
Fifth grade is the final year of our student's elementary school years.
A tradition at Edison Elementary is to celebrate of this significant milestone in our fifth-graders lives with a party for them at the close of the school year. Another tradition we observe is a Clap-out. Details on both events are below.

5th Grade Year-End Party
The 5th Graders will be treated to a day of dancing with music from a DJ, sports, games, raffles and a catered lunch. Parents have been contacted with the details. Thank you to the parents for all of their cooperation and donations!

Students are to arrive to school as normal school day. They will be bused to and from the event.

5th Grade Clap-Out
This fun tradition gives the spotlight to the 5th Graders. Families are invited to join us in sending them off in an exciting celebration.
Event Date:
Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (Last day of the school year for students)
Location:
Edison Elementary - Families will remain outside and line up along the sidewalks and circle.
Everyone claps as the 5th graders exit from the front doors as they are introduced.
5th Grader Parents: If your 5th grader will be leaving with you after the Clap Out, please go to the office after the Clap out to sign them out before you leave. All other students will return to class until 2:45 dismissal.
